Trainer Tip #11: How much water do you really need?

Trainer Tip #11:

Are you drinking enough water?

Recommended intake for women is 91 oz per day.

Drink:

  • 14-20 oz two hours before exercise
  • 4-8 oz every 15-20 minutes during exercise, or 16-32 oz every hour
  • 50 ounces for every kilogram (2.2 pounds) of body weight lost during exercise

Cold water is more rapidly absorbed.
