Trainer Tip #2: Protein and Water

Inspired by the process of obtaining my NASM Personal Trainer certification, I’m passing on weekly tidbits to help you find your own balanced health.


Trainer Tip #2:

Protein requires approximately seven times the water for metabolism than carbohydrate or fat. If you are on a high-protein eating plan, make sure you increase your water intake to help your body process the added protein.
