Today’s podcast episode is for any woman thirsting for information on hormones related to perimenopause and menopause. I’m thrilled to be talking to Dr. Alyssa Dweck who helps me sort through the facts, fears, and framework of this season of our lives.

In the first few minutes of our conversation, I share a story with Dr. Dweck. I won’t duplicate it here but this is the gist: we are longing for sound medical advice surrounding perimenopause and menopause. I have the Facebook feed to prove it.

Dr. Dweck answers questions like what is going on with our bodies, how can we manage some of the symptoms on our own through nutrition and movement, what are treatment options, what conversations we should be having with our doctor, and so much more.

By the way, if you’re like me and like to listen to podcasts on 1.5 speed, this is one you may want to slow down. This episode is chock full of information and I don’t want you to miss any of what Dr. Dweck brings.

    1. WHATTTT… Vitamin D is a hormone! FASCINATING! I will do better about taking it daily.

And, I do HIIT workouts three times a week – thanks for sharing about the cortisol and stress – I have started feeling bad recently and wonder if that is my connection. I need research this some more.

I love I.F. but need to get more consistent with it.

      Great podcast Amy. Hoot! Hoot!

(Not a podcast guest (lol) but I got a tattoo of Isaiah 41:10 on my wrist, so I can hide under my watch for professional reasons at work. I got the scripture after 8 years of severe hormone problems and almost dying. Just reminds me I was never alone in the dark years.)
