Finding urban beats and joy with U-Jam World Fitness

Welcome to season 7 of the Graced Health podcast, In Our Cultures.

This season you will hear from several people who have different cultures of origin than I do. I think it’s important to learn and discover these as we are all made in the image of God.  And as Maya Angelou said, we are more alike than we are unalike.

Today I am having the first of these conversations with Jennifer Breedlove. Jennifer shares with me her journey of finding who she is, her health, and becoming an instructor for U-Jam World of Dance Fitness. We also chat about body image within the Black community and how her experience as a Black woman is different than mine as a white.

I know you’ll find Jennifer inspiring and we’ll be able to see the beauty within her as we talked.
